The Tetsu bachi is the most popular of all Japanese water basins and has very attractive proportions reminescent of Japanese 'Iron pots', from where it gets it's name.The image illustrated here is the most traditional of all water basin arrangements; a Tetsu bachi, upright bamboo water spout, an Oribe lantern, and kneeling stones.
