The Japanese word for water basin is Tsukubai. Our range of authentic granite basins are hand carved in the preferred silver / grey granite of the Japanese market and to their exacting standards. Inferior granite products are made from the less expensive G603 granite which has a pronounced 'salt & pepper' fleck.
