Bonsai Workshops

Discover the wonderful world of Bonsai by joining our programme of informative Bonai Workshops. Our courses are suitable for both expert and novice students.

Four Seasons Bonsai Nursery is pleased to announce that our workshops are taken by Bryan Albright. Bryan is one of the UK's best known Bonsai potters; he creates individually designed and made pots for his clients' bonsai trees.

Bryan is very active in the Bonsai world, and continues his studies in the art of bonsai under a Japanese master. He passes on his knowledge and artistic flair when lecturing on Bonsai.

Our workshops are limited to 8 students, so booking is essential. The workshops start at 10.30 am and finish around 4.00 pm, costing £36.00 for the day. We supply tea and coffee through the day and students bring their own packed lunch for the break at lunchtime.

      Summer pruning of deciduous trees

      Summer pruning of evergreen trees
•  Saturday, October 18
      Autumn pruning of deciduous trees
•  Saturday, November 08
      Autumn pruning of all trees. Styling evergreen trees

Our workshops tend to be informal, but focus on a main topic. If you have any questions about your tree, please bring it along for expert advice.

Spaces in our workshops are limited to ensure that you receive the personal attention that you need. Please contact us to reserve your place.

Our nursery specialises in growing Bonsai raw material, and includes Larch, Beech, Acers, Oak, among others.
