Japanese Tea House in hardwood

Our elegant Tea houses for Japanese gardens are designed and pre-fabricated in our own UK workshops and can feature all the authentic detail such as Shoji doors and windows.

We make them to order so that they are the ideal size and proportion for your project.  Our range of Japanese styles buildings are not light weight, flat-pack structures, but made from heavy profile hardwood such as Iroko with durable panels walls and finished with a Canadian Cedar shingle roof. The timber is finished using teak oil to contrast the sandstone colour textured walls. The building can also feature traditional Shoji doors that slide on a track and a decorative Shoji window. Our buildings are substantial and made to last. We are also able to offer a delivery and installation service at extra cost.

Tea Houses are all custom built to suit your project, so expect to pay around £20,000 for a Japanese Tea house constructed from hardwood.  Please contact us with your enquiry.
