Description
An Acer palmatum Bloodgood has deep red or purple leaves that retain their colour late into summer. In Autumn leaves can turn bright crimson. Japanese maples are deciduous and therefore drop their leaves in winter.
Acer palmatum Bloodgood grows well in full sun. It can tolerate partial shade, however leaf colours will not be as bright or intense if they are not exposed to full sun. Japanese maples do not like to be dry or waterlogged, they thrive best when the soil around is kept moist. The Acer will grow as an upright shaped tree or shrub.
The pictures represent the exact tree you would receive and its current size is approximately 120cm tall* with 50cm spread. 25L pot size.
