Description
Acer palmatum Tamukeyama’s new foliage in spring that is deep crimson red in colour. Throughout summer dark purple-red leaves create drama, changing to bright scarlet in autumn.
Being from the dissectum group, the leaves are large and are finely dissected.
Acer palmatum dissectum Tamukeyama grows well in partial shade or full sun. Japanese maples do not like to be dry or waterlogged, they thrive best when the soil around is kept moist.
