Description
Acer palmatum dissectum Inaba Shidare produce purple-red leaves in early spring, which keep their colour throughout the seasons before finally turning crimson red in the autumn.
Being from the dissectum group, the leaves are large and are finely dissected.
Acer palmatum dissectum Inaba Shidare grows well in partial shade or full sun. Japanese maples do not like to be dry or waterlogged, they thrive best when the soil around is kept moist.
