Description
An Acer palmatum Fireglow has leaves with 7 lobes that are deeply divided. The leaves have pointed tips and the edges are slightly toothed. In spring the leaves appear pink-red, which darken to a deep red in summer transitions to a purple red in autumn.
Acer palmatum Fireglow grows well in full sun, they can also tolerate partial shade. Japanese maples do not like to be dry or waterlogged, they thrive best when the soil around is kept moist. The Acer will grow as an upright tree or shrub.
