Kiri-ishi (“cut stones”) are beautifully sliced stones crafted to reveal the striking internal character of the material while retaining a natural presence. Each stone in this two-piece set features a balanced combination of clean cut faces and raw texture, offering a refined yet authentic aesthetic. Ideal for Japanese gardens, modern landscapes, and sculptural focal points on their own, or softened with planting.
Both stones need a minimum of 2 people to lift. Although the bases are flat, the stones should be buried slightly (ideally in a bed of mortar) for stability.
