Due to high local COVID infection rates we are trying to reduce the number of visitors to the garden centre. We can send additional pictures via email or help you over the phone. If it is necessary to visit us then please book a visit here

Due to high demand we can not guarantee deliveries via courier will arrive on time. For local customers we have a click and collect service available.

We designed and built our first Japanese garden in 1993, since then we have built over 250 Japanese gardens across the UK.

Every design we produce is an original design, and bespoke to the clients preferences. Our designs are hand drawn with intricate detailing. To learn more about our design fee please get in touch. Read on to see the process involved in our professional design service.

  • Site visit

The first step in the design process is to visit you on site. We will be able to gain an understanding of the site, the ideas you have for it and how it will be used.

  • Survey

Whilst on site we will take detailed measurements, photographs and soil tests. It is important to gather as much information as possible to allow us to accurately design your project to sit comfortably in the space.

  • Design

We will produce a design concept drawing, with written description. This will detail the main elements, picking out a few feature plants.

  • Design Meeting

We schedule a meeting for you to visit us at our Japanese Garden Centre. During this meeting we will go through the elements / practicalities of the design. We will be able to show you samples of the materials and plants we have included. It is during this meeting that the design starts to come to life.

  • Quotation

We will provide you with a no obligation quotation for us to construct the garden. We operate on a fixed price basis, so that there are no hidden charges or additional costs. On acceptance of this, we will give you a start date for your project.
