Made in Japan, the Japanese Hori Hori is an essential tool for any gardener. Two razor sharp blades (one is serrated) means this tool is really versatile. The stainless steel blade is sharp and strong, but be careful to use it in really hard ground as you may bend the blade. A thick beech wood handle makes the Hori Hori very comfortable to use. The Hori Hori comes with a canvas holder to securely store the Hori Hori when not in use. The canvas holder also has a loop meaning you can attach it to a tool belt so this handy tool is never out of reach.
Keeping the blades clean and through correct use, these shears will last you a lifetime. The blades can be sharpened using a sharpening stone, ideally after every use for the most effective cuts!
