The beechwood handle is unfinished, you can choose to oil it or leave natural.
They cut on the pull stroke, glide back on the push and can be more fragile than western saws so take care in using the saw properly. Ideally the diameter of the branch should not be larger than 1/3 of the blade. Use a smooth sawing action, try not to let the branch pinch the blade or let the blade twist.
Approx. maximum cut should be 50mm diameter.
