Description
Tenka Chaya Kiso Japanese Stone Lantern, hand carved from natural silver grey granite in 4 pieces, has a distinctive square form with attractive carved detailing on the lightbox and base.
The Kyoto style has a very smooth finish, for a rustic ornament we recommend the Tenka Chaya in the Nara range.
‘Kiso’ refers to foundation or base, as this lantern comes in 4 pieces with a separate base stone to the lightbox. For a slightly different feel, we have a Tenka Chaya made from 3 pieces, where the lightbox is integrated with the base. View the The 3pc Tenka Chaya Kyoto here.
Kiso Tenka Chaya comes in 4 separate pieces. You can leave the pieces sitting freely on top of each other. If you live in a particularly windy area or you are worried about children or animals knocking into the lantern you can stick the pieces together using a clear, outdoor adhesive such as Stixall.
Lid diameter 30cm x 30cm, height 40cm.
The lantern is drilled to accept a low voltage light that we offer for an additional £19. We can make a light diffuser for this style of lantern for £30. Tenka Chaya’s only require 1 diffuser per lantern.
