Description
This plant does not stem from the boxwood family, but is a rhododendron. This special breed has all the characteristics of a normal boxwood, but boasts some additional features that represent a clear advantage over the genuine boxwood. Bloombux is an evergreen that can be used as a hedge plant or as a solitary plant in a pot or in the garden. The blooming evergreen hedge is a real eye-catcher in a garden. It combines lush flowering in June with the great features similar to those of the boxwood.
Bloombux is an easy-care rhododendron that grows in almost any loose garden soil. As a rhododendron, it is insensitive to typical box tree diseases and pests. Bloombux should be pruned shortly after the flowering season, so that the flower buds of the following year are not damaged.
