Pittosporum variegatum

Pittosporum tenuifolium vargiegatum is a compact evergreen shrub. There are several varieties, some of the varieties we typically stock are listed below.

Pittosporum tenuifolium Elizabeth is an upright evergreen shrub. Wavy edged green leaves with cream edges and flushes of pink. Can grow up to 4m in height and spread.

Pittosporum tenuifolium Irene Paterson is a slow-growing shrub with dark purplish stems and dark green leaves with white veins and edging. In winter the leaves can be tinged in pink. Can grow up to 1.5m in height and spread.

Pittosporum tenuifolium Silver Ball is a slow-growing compact evergreen plant. Naturally dome forming, this variety works great when pruned into ball-shaped plants. Planted on their own or together in a bed with other evergreen shrubs and pittosporum tom thumb. Approx growth up to a 1m and spread. Grey-green leaves that have white margins.

Pittosporum tenuifolium Golden Ball is a variety that has dramatic golden yellow foliage when young which mature to yellow-green. In May and June they can produce small purple scented flowers. Can be left to grow naturally as a tall shrub or pruned for topiary. Approx growth up to a 1m and spread.
