Nuresagi Lantern – Kyoto Range

SKU: N/A Category:

New to the range, the Nuresagi lantern is designed to resemble a heron standing on one leg. The design of the lantern dates back to the Edo period (1603-1868). The lantern is made up of six delicately hand-carved pieces of silver grey granite. This impressive stone lantern displays a heron or crane carved into the lightbox, with a crane symbolising long life within the Japanese culture. These are the only lanterns of this style on sale in the UK.

The lantern is drilled to accept a low voltage Lantern Light that we offer for an additional £19.

Currently the Nuresagi lanterns are available in two heights; 150cm and 180cm.

Although the lantern is made up of six pieces, the individual pieces are heavy.
