A traditional Japanese water basin arrangement usually features 3 Kneeling stones as illustrated in the accompanying photographs. These stones are arranged around a water basin (to be chosen separately). The drop down box allows you to select the size of basin that the kneeling stones will be positioned around.
We carefully select the stones in the correct proportions to match the size of the water basin. The large flat rock in front of the basin is called Mae-ishi, while the two other rocks are to hold a warm bucket of water in the winter and a candle at night. The rocks will need positioning to ensure they have flat tops.
We charge from £45 for 3 rocks to compliment a 30 cm diameter water basin.
A larger diameter basin will require bigger kneeling stones and the price will be higher.
We will select the rocks and e-mail you an image to show exactly what you will be receiving, and show you how to set them up.
